Baby yoga and postnatal exercise- Wednesdays 1-2pm
Mum and baby yoga is suitable for adults with babies from birth to crawling. These classes are essential support for new mums.
Breathing, singing, movement, and relaxation, yoga for mums and babies. Each session is different, as they are completely baby led. Join us to learn practices to help baby and mummy bond, stretch/strengthen and relax after birth. Post-natal yoga helps support our core function and ease out the aches and pains from being a mum.
Babies love these yoga classes, and bonding with their mums in this special way. Mums love these classses, they get tips and advice about yoga tricks that help baby sleep, and soothe baby. They also meet other mums and babies at similar stages. Post-natal is such an inportant time to get back into shape and support your body and mind. Many mums find the mindfulness and relaxation tools immensely beneficial. Anyone is welcome to join, no previous yoga experience required. We work with stretching and strengthening to restore the pelvic floor and core. and help with low back pain, or shoulder pain.
Most mums join the class after their 6 week check up, and spend the majority of maternity leave at mum and baby yoga, making new friends and enjoying this special bonding time.
Don’t worry if baby is sleeping, grumpy, hungry, pooing! You can still join class. We have seen it all at baby yoga over the years and we welcome tired mums with open hearts and open arms. (in a socially distanced way)
Cost is £6 for class pass system or £6.5 pay as you go. Please use your pass within two months.
